I recently upgraded from office and outlook has some serious problems. It connects to server office costumer not business edition for a while, then drops connection and stays that way with info that it cannot connect to server. I am so dissapointed with Office – I should never make myself trouble and upgrade from – it seems as some sort of half-baked trial product, which is tested on consumers.

I created dummy MS account and it suppose to be on new exchange and this is working ok with outlook – but my MS account is on old exchange I suppose different leyout. If the email account is configured as Exchange Active sync, you may remove and re-add the email account in Outlook and check if it works as expected.
